My 84 year old mother fell and broke her hip Monday afternoon. We can’t see her. My daughter in law is expecting a baby any day and I’m a teacher. I know God is in control and He’s GOOD, but I know He also hears the prayers of His people.
Please Lord I pray that you keep all of us safe through this time. You know your reasoning for what is happening even, though we don't. I also pray for your wisdom in trying to teach my children how to cope with what is going on.
My aunt Deborah is pregnant and I hope that she will have a good last 6 1/2 weeks of being pregnant and that she will have a healthy boy or girl and that she will be healthy herself.
Dear Heavenly Father, my prayer list is our family, our friends, and our planet neighbors. Individually we all have something going on in our lives. There are people close to me who are dealing with cancer and all that comes with that, high liver enzymes, fear, uncertainty, recovering from accidents, have compromised immune systems in one way or another, are ill in some way with a cold or seasonal allergies or strep throat and of course on top of all of that we have the threat of C-19 and all of it's consequences. That is quite a list. But NOTHING is too hard for our Lord! We know you got this! So, because of our faith that you will use this to the good of those who love you, to glorify your name and to win more people to your Kingdom, we will fear not! You say "Fear Not!" 366 times in your Word. That is one for every single day of this leap year! Thank you for your angel armies working behind the scenes. Thank you for all the blessings we see and the ones we can't yet for we acknowledge they come from you! Thank you for your hedge of protection for all involved during this difficult time. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for Jesus. It's in His name we pray. AMEN!
Please pray for Paula who is quite sick with C-19. Please pray for a young doctor who is quite concerned about treating C-19 patients without proper protective equipment (and please pray for all healthcare workers, grocery store workers, and others on the front lines of exposure). Please pray for a couple who is not walking closely with the Lord to return to Him and for their marriage.
While this does not affect me personally, I am mindful that with children out of school, that those who depend on school lunches ( and sometimes breakfast as well) would be provided so as to alleviate the anxieties that families are facing. I am grateful that God promises to provide all that we need. I am praying that those who are called by His name, according to His purpose would be strengthened to do His work in whatever capacity God wills. What a powerful God we serve! We all have the opportunity to show how important our Lord and Savior is to us.
I ask for prayers for my husband. He has distanced himself from the kids and I and has turned to drinking alcohol and verbal abuse. I pray he opens his heart to God and can overcome his addiction. I pray he is able to get out of this dark hole and we are able to restore our marriage and family
Friends of ours who lost their main income by loss of job.
Please pray for me and my family and our sadness at this time. I am a senior in high school who now doesn't get the last things in high school(graduation, prom, last band concert). Very hard for me to handle. Just asking for some prayer over my strength and positive perspective on all of this through christ.
My husband says he is not happy. As a result he has isolated from me as a husband. I pray for him to be open to recieve godly counseling and also use this time to focus on God so that he can work on himself. Then I pray he will be in a place that we can work on restoration for our marriage. And for strength for me to still be able to act like a wife and a mother when I just want to give up.
Please pray for school district decision-makers (public and private) as they try to figure out how to deliver continuous learning opportunities for their students. Our district is meeting tomorrow (Thursday) to work on a plan for our students and families. Please pray for wisdom, a vision that works for all students of very diverse backgrounds, and persistence to do all that we can for our students. Pray that technology works and for the IT people who will be tasked with more than they envisioned.
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who prayed and continues to pray for school leaders, teachers, and families who have been tasked with facilitating school for their kids along with their other jobs and responsibilities. I feel blessed to work where I do. God is good all the time.
Please pray for those of us that work in schools. Those kids that you’re talking about are “our kids”! We are truly invested in their lives and having them taken from us in a way that some of us won’t get any closure with them is difficult. Some teachers will get opportunities with their kids through online experiences, but it isn’t the same as in-person interaction. Paras, cooks, janitors, and office staff may not even get that. So please lift these people up that they may be helped through this and can find closure in some way.
Feeling very overwhelmed and filled with anxiety... need so much peace.
Please pray for everyone's heart, that they open it to our Lord and savior. And hope for everyone to be safe in this time. May we continue to trust in God and we pray for all those who are lost and need a friend, may they find a friend in Jesus!
I work in the public school system and since they just closed today it’s uncertain if l will still be getting paid. I’m nervous because I cannot afford not to be working.
My daughter is making her way home from Australia. She should be home Wednesday, 3-18, afternoon but will be quarantine to the basement to 2 week. Please pray for safe travels, patients, and to stay health.
Our oldest child is turning 24 today and now lives in Ohio. Please pray for her safety and well being. Pray that I keep my trust in her Heavenly Father to keep her in His hands. He loves her more than even I and her dad do. It is just hard with her so far away.
Please be in prayer for our president, government leaders, doctors’ nurses (and staff), the scientists searching for treatments, first responders. Moreover, the janitors keeping facilities clean, truck drivers keeping shelves at the stores stocked, Pastor Mark (and the NewSpring staff working behind the scenes), and for my schooling and job search.
Lord, please soften the eyes and ears of our hearts to remember all of the things in life you have gotten us through, this is no different. Thank you in advance for how you will see us through and strengthen us in you through all of this. We love you.
I work in Healthcare and am exhausted. I also am a single parent and am having to juggle with the lack of school. Needing protection, rest and “extra strength” of everything. Trying to be everything for our community and family and I’m starting to feel worn out.
